New Designer Denim at Target: William Rast

I remember a time when Target stores used to sell garments that were hardly even wearable. In more modern times, it appears major brand names have been adopted into Target stores and it has almost become a decent destination to buy clothes. If you’re not on board with that idea, perhaps you haven’t heard that quality designer jeans label William Rast has now been appended to Target’s list of brands.

If you are not privy, William Rast is a popular manufacturer of designer jeans, co-founded by Justin Timberlake. This particular brand of jeans has been seen on a whole bunch of famous folk in Hollywood. You can expect them to be by far the most high-priced jeans found at just about any Target in the nation, but they’re still on sale at freaking Target. Does it boggle your mind or what?

Back when I was a child, I recall feeling bored to tears while shopping at Target and begging my mom to buy me a $12 junk watch. Now, I can’t say with any degree of certainty what other types of watches were for sale, but I am confident that there were various types all in the same general price range. Nowadays, you can fidn watches being sold at Target stores that fetch $100 or more.

One more example was in my teen years. For the purpose of saving some cash, my mom would get me clothes from Target. At a time when most of my peers were wearing cool, more expensive, surf style brands, I was wearing random brand names such as Utility or Mossimo, which were the staples of Target back in the day. It was rather trying, to say the least.

But today things have changed. In these modern times, buying clothes at Target is like the most trendy thing one can do. What an extreme shift.
